On this repair, the scraper blade started to tare away from the connection to the hydraulic arm. Both sides were torn with cracking. I chased all the cracks with a grinding wheel and then proceeded to bevel and prep the surface for welding. Pre-heat and post-heat were used due to the thickness/ and size of the steel. A clean root pass was laid, followed by multiple cover passes. She is now connected and ready to scrape again!
